LovShield Inc. ("LovShield" or "we") offers users ("Users" or "You") a telecom security service designed to help seniors stay safe on calls, through its mobile applications, web dashboard, landline protection device, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). These Terms of Service, together with the LovShield Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Terms"), govern Your use of the Services. By accessing or using any of the Services, You agree to be bound by these Terms.
By creating a LovShield account, You confirm that You are a resident of Canada or the United States. If You are registering on behalf of a business entity, You represent that You have the authority to legally bind that entity.
We are committed to the security and protection of the personal information of our Users. The LovShield Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and process personal information, and You acknowledge and agree that LovShield may collect, use, share, and process personal information as described therein.
LovShield is a communication assistance tool that monitors calls in real time, evaluates conversation content for fraud patterns, and provides informational alerts to the user. The Services include: Mobile Application, Web Dashboard (dashboard.lovshield.com), Landline Protection Device, Risk Analysis (AI-based pattern recognition), and Family Alerts.
Subject to Your compliance with these Terms, LovShield grants You a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and limited right to use the Services for Your own personal, non-commercial use, except as otherwise agreed separately in writing.
You guarantee that any information You provide to LovShield is, to the best of Your knowledge, correct and not in violation of applicable law. You agree not to make any commercial use of the Services, scrape or extract data, use the Services illegally, or create multiple accounts to avoid fees or restrictions.
The Services, including all software, content, and intellectual property, are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. LovShield and its licensors retain ownership of the Services and all related rights.
You are solely liable for any content You submit through the Services and agree to only submit content that is true, lawful, and does not infringe the rights of any third party. Please contact us at support@lovshield.ca to report any objectionable content.
The Services may integrate with or contain links to third-party services, websites, or content. Such third-party services are subject to their own terms and conditions. LovShield is not responsible for any third-party content, services, or practices.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." LovShield makes no warranty or representation, express or implied, with respect to the Services. LovShield alerts are informational tools only. The Service does not guarantee detection of all fraudulent calls. AI-based risk analysis may produce false positives or false negatives. You retain full decision-making authority during all calls.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LovShield shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Services. Your sole remedy with respect to any dissatisfaction with the Services is to cancel Your subscription and cease use of the Services.
LovShield Services are available through paid subscriptions. Current plans, pricing, and included features are published at lovshield.com and on the web dashboard. Prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise indicated. Subscription payments are processed through a third-party payment processor. LovShield does not collect or store Your payment card information.
LovShield offers a 30-day cancellation period for new subscribers. Within 30 days from the start of Your subscription, You may cancel and receive a full refund of subscription fees paid. To initiate a cancellation, contact LovShield at support@lovshield.ca.
Your right to use the Services continues until these Terms are terminated. LovShield may terminate these Terms and Your use of the Services with thirty (30) days' advance notice. You may terminate at any time by deleting Your account.
LovShield may modify the Services at any time. LovShield reserves the right to modify these Terms by publishing revised Terms within the Services or at lovshield.com/terms and notifying You. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. You agree that any legal action or proceedings may be brought exclusively in the competent courts having jurisdiction in Toronto, Ontario.
LovShield reserves the right to assign and transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms to any third party.
LovShield strives to provide adequate and efficient technical support, upgrades, and updates for the Services. However, LovShield is not obligated to provide support or maintenance under these Terms.
